  • Macy's, J.C. Penney back to court over Martha Stewart dispute

    New York -- Macy’s and J.C. Penney are slated to be back in New York state court on Monday unless a last-minute settlement regarding Macy’s right – or not – to sell certain Martha Stewart products is reached.

    The two retailers are coming out of a month-long mediation stint, but so far no settlement has been reached.

    According to a Monday report by Reuters, witness are scheduled to be on the stand Monday and Tuesday, including J.C. Penney marketing executives.  

  • Home Depot builds how-to video series with Martha Stewart

    Martha Stewart Living and The Home Depot have teamed up for a new video series launching April 25.

    The series will consist of three unique videos per week, released via e-newsletter, and hosted on the Martha Stewart Video Hub, Homedepot.com, Aol.com, and Yahoo Screen. 

    The videos will fall into two categories, highlighting Martha Stewart Living product sold at The Home Depot, and answering various DIY "how-to" questions:

  • P&G to sponsor Hispanic trends event

    MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Hispanicize 2013, the annual Latino trends event, has announced Procter & Gamble as the official presenting sponsor for this year's event taking place in Miami Beach from April 9 to 13. This is P&G's first year as the presenting sponsor of the Hispanicize event.

  • Report: Best Buy and Target end Geek Squad test

    New York -- Best Buy Co. Inc. and Target Corp. ended a partnership that positioned Geek Squad agents in Target stores in Denver and Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.

    The six-month pilot allowed Geek Squad personnel to offer services such as installation and repair to electronics customers at 29 Target stores. The program covered a wide range of consumer electronics products, according to the report.

  • Pepsi, Walmart offer free food to D.C. kids

    Feed The Children, PepsiCo and Walmart partnered with Central Union Mission in Washington, D.C. this week to distribute two tractor-trailers full of food and essentials to help 800 area children and families in need.

    PepsiCo, a longtime Feed The Children partner, donated Frito-Lay brand snacks, Quaker brand products and Pepsi brand beverages while Walmart, with the assistance of its suppliers, provided a loaf of bread and a five pound bag of apples and oranges to each of the 800 families.

  • Coty renews partnership with ocean conservation program

    PARIS — Beauty brand Coty has announced the renewal of the partnership agreement for the Pristine Seas program between the National Geographic Society and Davidoff Cool Water.

     "This relationship with National Geographic is a cornerstone for Davidoff Cool Water. The link we have created with the ocean has grown stronger, and we feel it is essential to keep working on this partnership," stated Jean Mortier, president of Coty Prestige.
