Bealls plots 2026/2027 store expansion — here’s where

Bealls upcoming expansion, which will give it a presence in 23 states, comes as the off-price channel is surging, with consumers looking to stretch their dollars amid an uncertain economy. Off-price chains captured 65.7% of the combined visit share against department stores in the first quarter of 2026, driven by consumer demand for value and treasure-hunt shopping, according to a report by Placer.ai.
