Amazon offering same-day delivery, pickup of Ozempic pill
Amazon continues expanding omnichannel access to Ozempic. which can be used for diabetes treatment and weight loss.
Amazon Pharmacy is now providing same-day delivery of prescriptions for Novo Nordisk's Ozempic GLP-1 pill, which is the only FDA-approved oral GLP-1 medication to treat type 2 diabetes. Customers with an Ozempic pill prescription can order through Amazon Pharmacy, see real-time availability in their area, view transparent pricing and receive same-day delivery directly to their door nationwide, regardless of Prime membership.
Amazon Pharmacy will also offer same-day prescription Ozempic pill pickup within minutes through in-office, licensed pharmacist-supported kiosks at select One Medical locations immediately after medical appointments, allowing customers to skip long pharmacy lines.
For customers with insurance, pricing starts at $25 per month. For cash-pay customers, pricing begins at $149 per month with manufacturer-sponsored savings offers applied automatically before checkout.
Same-day delivery of the Ozempic prescription pill is currently available in nearly 3,000 cities and towns, expanding to nearly 4,500 cities and towns by year end. Next-day, two-day and three-day prescription delivery will be offered in areas where other mail-order services take between five and 10 days.

In addition to delivering the Ozempic pill, Amazon also directly offers U.S. home delivery of Eli Lilly’s recently approved GLP-1 medication Foundayo as well as Eli Lilly’s Zepbound KwikPen multi-dose injectable treatment for weight management.
Amazon also recently introduded a nationwide comprehensive GLP-1 management program that integrates medication access options, including Amazon Pharmacy, with personalized primary care that combines GLP-1 medications and ongoing medical expertise.
To order prescriptions through Amazon Pharmacy, customers ask their healthcare provider to send a prescription directly to Amazon Pharmacy, just as they would with any pharmacy, and receive delivery to their doorstep or via an in-office kiosk. Customers nationwide receive free delivery on every medication, regardless of Prime membership.
