Amazon expands same-day delivery range of Eli Lilly weight loss drugs
Amazon is making a new GLP-1 weight loss drug from pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly available for same-day delivery.
Amazon Pharmacy is now directly offering U.S. home delivery of Eli Lilly’s recently approved GLP-1 medication Foundayo, a once-daily oral treatment for adults with obesity or overweight with weight-related medical problems.
Customers with a valid prescription can order Foundayo through Amazon Pharmacy, see real-time medication availability and pricing, and receive same-daymedication delivery directly to their door nationwide. With insurance, pricing starts as low as $1 per day or $25 per month.
For cash pay customers, pricing is $5 per day or $149 per month. Manufacturer-sponsored coupons are applied automatically before checkout. Amazon Pharmacy has been providing U.S. home delivery of select medications, through the LillyDirect online portal of global pharmaceutical provider Lilly since March 2024.

Amazon also recently began directly offering same-day U.S. home delivery of Eli Lilly’s Zepbound KwikPen multi-dose injectable treatment for weight management
By leveraging Amazon's delivery logistics network, Amazon Pharmacy will offer Foundayo via its same-day delivery service in nearly 3,000 cities and towns, expanding to nearly 4,500 by year end. In remote areas, next-day, two-day and three-day prescription delivery will be offered.

"We are giving customers faster treatment options with our same-day delivery offering, easy ways to save with automatically applied manufacturer coupons and the price transparency they need to make informed decisions about their care."
Amazon Pharmacy has been delivering GLP-1 medications since 2021 and works with healthcare providers, industry collaborators, and digital health companies, including LillyDirect as well as WeightWatchers, UpScriptHealth and Noom, to expand access to weight management treatments.
Amazon expanding same-day prescription delivery
Amazon is expanding its delivery options for Foundayo as it is generally growing its same-day prescription delivery offering to 4,500 cities and towns across the U.S. by the end of 2026 — adding nearly 2,000 new communities over the course of the year, including those in newly-served states such as Idaho and Massachusetts.
This initiative follows the launch of same-day Amazon Pharmacy prescription delivery to the Chicago area and San Francisco Bay area in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Amazon Pharmacy achieved faster delivery speeds in 2025 across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., using delivery methods tailored to the needs of different communities that include e-bikes as well as pick-up kiosks located in the lobbies of select Amazon One Medical clinics in the Los Angeles area. Amazon Pharmacy will continue expanding in-person kiosk access to additional locations in 2026.
