Amazon expands online Winn-Dixie grocery delivery across Florida

Amazon is delivering from more Winn-Dixie stores.

Amazon and Winn-Dixie are taking a major step forward in their e-commerce collaboration.

In an email to Chain Store Age, an Amazon spokesperson said the two companies are now making same-day delivery of more than 15,000 Winn-Dixie grocery items available on Amazon throughout Florida, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Pensacola. Delivery also extends to surrounding neighborhoods and nearby communities throughout each area.

Amazon began offering Winn-Dixie grocery products, alongside its own selection of grocery and everyday household items, for delivery on its site in the greater Jacksonville and Orlando areas in September 2025.

With this expansion, Winn-Dixie grocery delivery on Amazon now reaches customers across the state's largest metropolitan areas and has more than doubled its coverage to serve the majority of Florida households.

"Since launching in Jacksonville and Orlando last fall, we've seen how much customers value the combination of Winn-Dixie's trusted selection with Amazon's convenient delivery," said Sophie Turrell, director, U.S. grocery partnerships at Amazon. "More Florida customers have been asking for the ability to shop their favorite local grocery store through Amazon, and we're thrilled to deliver on that request.”

For a limited time, both Prime members and customers without a Prime membership can receive free delivery on all Winn-Dixie orders over $25 with two-hour delivery windows.

Winn-Dixie Rewards members can also link that account with their Amazon account to earn Rewards value on each purchase that can be redeemed for dollars off future in-store purchases at Winn-Dixie.

Amazon has launched similar hosted delivery partnership with other regional grocery chains including Cub in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area, Save Mart and Lucky Supermarkets in California, as well as Weis Markets in cities across New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

"Winn-Dixie is a trusted hometown grocer that Floridians have relied on for generations, and this expansion allows us to serve even more families with the fresh, quality products and everyday value they expect," said Gayle Shields, chief merchandising and marketing officer for The Winn-Dixie Company. "Building on our initial launch, we’re now reaching the majority of Florida households—bringing added convenience and more savings to customers across the state."

Customers can shop Winn-Dixie and check delivery availability in their area by visiting the dedicated Winn-Dixie page on the Amazon site or using the Amazon shopping app.

Based in Jacksonville, Fla., The Winn-Dixie Company operates stores across Florida and southern Georgia.
