Amazon launches online Winn-Dixie grocery delivery in Florida

Amazon - Winn-Dixie
Amazon is teaming with Winn-Dixie.

Amazon is expanding its digital grocery offerings in two Florida metro markets.

The online giant is now offering the full Winn-Dixie grocery assortment, alongside its own selection of grocery and everyday household items, for delivery on its site in the greater Jacksonville and Orlando, Fla. areas.

"We're always looking for ways to make grocery shopping easier, more convenient, and meet evolving customer needs," said Sophie Turrell, Director, U.S. grocery partnerships at Amazon. "By bringing Winn-Dixie's selection to Amazon, we're giving customers in Jacksonville and Orlando more choice and flexibility in how they shop for groceries, all with the convenience of Amazon delivery."

Customers can shop for groceries from Winn-Dixie on Amazon by visiting a dedicated page on the e-commerce retailer’s site or by using the Amazon shopping app. The offering includes more than 16,000 items across multiple categories and available for grocery delivery to customers in the following cities and towns in Jacksonville and Orlando: Atlantic Beach, Fleming Island, Gotha, Intercession City, Kissimmee, Neptune Beach, Ocoee, Orange Park, Ponte Vedra, Ponte Vedra Beach, Saint Johns, Windermere and Winter Park.

For a limited time, both Prime members and customers without a Prime membership will enjoy free delivery on all Winn-Dixie orders over $25 with two-hour delivery windows. Winn-Dixie members can link their Winn-Dixie Rewards account with their Amazon account to earn 1 point for every $2 spent on Winn-Dixie Amazon orders and redeem their points when shopping in store at Winn-Dixie.

"Our collaboration with Amazon marks an exciting milestone in expanding access to Winn-Dixie's high-quality, affordable groceries," said Adam Kirk, chief customer and digital officer for Winn-Dixie’s parent company, Southeastern Grocers. "We're proud to offer fresh foods, local favorites and private label brands to more homes throughout Jacksonville and Orlando, with the convenience and speed of Amazon's trusted delivery network."

Amazon partners with a variety of grocery retailers to offer online delivery of their products. These include several Save Mart banners, as well as a same-day delivery partnership with regional grocer Weis Markets in cities across New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

In 2024, Amazon introduced a new optional perk for Amazon Prime members and EBT recipients that offers unlimited grocery delivery for a monthly fee. Eligible deliveries are from Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and other local grocery and specialty retailers including Save Mart on orders over $35.

Amazon also recently upped its competition in grocery with a major expansion of its same-day delivery service to include perishable items.

The company rolled out same-day delivery of fresh perishable groceries  to more than 1,000 cities and towns in August 2025, with plans to expand the initiative to more than 2,300 areas across the U.S. by the end of 2026.
