Adore Me is expanding its internal use of AI.
A direct-to-consumer intimate apparel retailer is expanding its usage of Google artificial intelligence (AI) technology as an employee tool.
Adore Me, which was purchased by Victoria’s Secret for $400 million in upfront cash in January 2023, has been utilizing Duet AI for Google Workspace as part of a "trusted tester" program that gave its employees early access to test and share feedback. Duet AI embeds generative AI — which is based on machine learning (ML) and can create new content and ideas, including conversations, stories, images, videos, and music — across Google communication and collaboration apps including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs and Meet.
As a longtime Workspace user, Adore Me's more than 550 global employees already utilize Google tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides every day. Now, many of them are testing Duet AI in Workspace to perform AI-equipped tasks such as more quickly creating final marketing copy and developing outlines for upcoming campaigns.
As a result, Adore Me hopes to reduce manual workload on its employees and provide corporate teams with more time to focus on creativity and innovation.
"Google Workspace is integral to life at Adore Me as computers or desks," said Ranjan Roy, VP of strategy at Adore Me. "Being able to collaborate asynchronously via Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets is foundational to our ability to communicate with customers and our overall success as a distributed, data-driven company. Now, Duet AI for Google Workspace is presenting the next generation of opportunities for our teams to work even more effectively."
"We've been a proud partner in Adore Me's technology journey for the past 10 years," said Robert Frati, VP and GM of global go-to-market and field operations, Google Workspace. "It's been exciting to see all of the ways Adore Me has already deployed Duet AI for its employees around the globe. We look forward to supporting its teams as they continue exploring the many ways Duet AI can transform the way they work."
Founded in 2011 as an online lingerie startup, New York-based Adore Me has evolved into a direct-to-consumer lingerie and apparel brand operating an e-commerce website and six brick-and-mortar stores in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, and Tennessee.
