7-Eleven, Ace Hardware, Rainbow Shops streamline frontline workflows
Several major retailers are enhancing their management of frontline operations using technology from Workday.
7-Eleven, Ace Hardware and Rainbow Shops are all leveraging Workday solutions to automate and improve frontline activities such as hiring and shift management.

Following are highlights of each retailer’s frontline optimization:
7-Eleven and Ace Hardware
Convenience store giant 7-Eleven and Ace Hardware, the world’s largest hardware cooperative, are utilizing the Workday Paradox Candidate Experience and Paradox Conversational Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) solutions to streamline up to 90% of their hiring tasks, from screening through onboarding, with a faster, text-based hiring experience.

"Our recruiters were spending too much time on manual scheduling and administrative tasks, pulling them away from the human connections that define our culture," said Stef Nikitas, director of talent acquisition, Ace Hardware. "With Paradox, we removed that administrative work and now screen candidates in minutes instead of hours, driving an 86% conversation rate."
Rainbow Shops
Rainbow Shops is better managing shift functions such as last-minute swaps and hour limits by more quickly routing requests and suggesting replacements using the Workday Frontline Agent. According to Workday, some adopters of the solution have seen managers reduce the time spent on staffing changes by up to 90%.
