Walmart offers Easter meal deal for under $8 per person

Walmart is responding to customer inflation concerns with a special omnichannel discount for the upcoming Easter holiday.

The discount giant reports that nearly two-thirds (65%) of its customers expect inflation to have an impact on how they celebrate Easter (Sunday, March 31) this year. In response, Walmart is lowering the cost of a curated Easter meal, available for purchase at a price lower it offered in 2023. 

Walmart’s 2024 Easter promotion offers a curated holiday meal featuring traditional holiday offerings such as ham, sweet potatoes and apple pie, as well as the ingredients for deviled eggs, that can serve up to 10 people for an average price of less than $8 per person. 

In addition, customers can purchase an Easter basket containing candy, holiday accessories and paper grass for under $20 at Walmart this holiday season. Walmart is also offering several seasonal products in its assortment, such as outdoor Easter bunny inflatables, Peeps plushies and stuffed Easter bunnies.

Customers can obtain savings on the curated Easter meal in-stores and online through Sunday, March 31. Same-day delivery or curbside pick-up are available for both the meal and basket in one click by visiting their dedicated pages on the Walmart e-commerce site. 

In November 2023, Walmart started offering two Thanksgiving meal packages at a lower price than it offered in 2022, with availability through the Christmas holiday.
