In addition, Walmart is launching a redesigned GLP-1 digital destination on its e-commerce site. Beginning in July 2026, eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries will gain access to certain GLP-1 medications through a short-term demonstration known as the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge.

"Access to medication is only one part of the equation," said Kevin Host, senior VP of pharmacy, Walmart U.S. "Weight management today is often difficult to navigate, with patients managing multiple steps across care, medication and lifestyle changes. By bringing together pharmacist support, virtual care and nutrition resources, and leveraging the scale and convenience of our pharmacy network, we’re making it easier for customers to access care and support in a way that fits their lives."

Looking ahead, Walmart plans to continue expanding its weight management support offerings by adding services and providers to the Better Care Services platform and enhancing digital tools to support customers over time.
