Walmart accepting Synchrony CareCredit payments online
Walmart is providing a new way for customers to make digital health and wellness purchases.
The discount giant is now accepting payment via the CareCredit credit card from financial services company Synchrony for eligible purchases directly on its website. This follows the established acceptance of CareCredit in Walmart and Sam’s Club stores.
In addition to currently eligible health and wellness purchases, CareCredit cardholders can now use their card across a broader set of in-store product categories and an expanded selection online at Walmart. Newly qualifying categories include medical supplies & equipment (wheelchairs, crutches, walking canes), fitness products (treadmills, stationary bikes, weights) and sleep essentials (mattresses, pillows, sheets).
"The healthcare journey extends far beyond the doctor's office, and we're committed to connecting consumers with credit options so they can access health and wellness products and services at their local retailer and during the moments that matter most," said Beto Casellas, executive VP and CEO of health & wellness at Synchrony. "Expanding our relationship with a trusted retailer like Walmart is a pivotal step in giving millions of families the flexibility and convenience to pay for their wellness needs where they shop."
Walmart is building on a financial services partnership with Synchrony that also includes a credit card that OnePay, a fintech jointly backed by Walmart and investment firm Ribbit Capital (previously known as One) which launched in fall 2025.

The credit card program is embedded inside the OnePay app and supported by the Mastercard global payments network, and is available to Walmart customers as well as to consumers across the U.S.
As part of the program, OnePay and Synchrony have introduced both a general-purpose card which will serve as the program's signature card and be available to use anywhere Mastercard is accepted, and a private label card which will be exclusively for Walmart purchases. In addition, in January 2025 Sam’s Club announced a multi-year extension of its more than 30-year strategic credit card relationship with Synchrony.
Headquartered in Bentonville, Ark., Walmart operates more than 10,750 stores and numerous eCommerce websites in 19 countries.
