Old Navy teaming up with rideshare service for the holidays
Old Navy has partnered with Lyft to take some of the stress out of last-minute holiday shopping — and to promote the retailer’s click-and-collect service.
On Saturday, Dec. 15 and Saturday, Dec. 22, Lyft will offer rides to-and-from Old Navy stores for customers who use the retailer’s buy online, pickup in-store service. Old Navy is also sweetening the deal for those who take advantage of the BOPIS service: On Saturday and Sunday Dec. 15-16 and Dec. 22-23, customers who buy online and pickup in-store will receive a free gift wrapping set. And from Dec. 20 through Dec. 24, customers who buy online and pickup in-store will receive a $5 shop card to put towards their next shopping trip at Old Navy.
In addition, on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 1 p.m., Old Navy and Lyft are taking over The Rink at Bryant Park in New York City to celebrate their partnership with a free performance open to the public. Singer and actress Lea Michele will perform live a series of classic holiday carols alongside the world-renowned New York City Gay Men’s Chorus (NYCGMC).
On Thursday, Dec. 13, Old Navy will share additional content on its social channels of the NYCGMC delivering singing telegrams around Manhattan. The choral group will be surprising lucky recipients with gifts and personalized messages.
