  • Bon-Ton Stores enters Utah

    New York -- The Bon-Ton Stores has signed a lease with Rouse Properties for a new Herberger’s store at Cache Valley Mall in Logan, Utah — its first in the state. 

    The company expects to begin remodeling the 62,000-sq.-ft. facility in early spring 2014 and to be completed in the second half of 2014.

  • New dining and retail leases for Miracle Mile Shops

    Las Vegas — Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood resort & Casino has announced the opening of four new restaurants and retailers.

    Meatball Spot will bring its Italian cuisine to Miracle Mile Shops this winter. Ketchup Premium Burger Bar will open its doors in November. Tervis will follow in December. Shoe Palace plans to open in February 2014.

    Miracle Mile Shops is a 1.2 mile retail/entertainment complex at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. It features 170 specialty stores, 15 restaurants and live entertainment venues.

  • Palmetto Gardens pays off loan, avoids foreclosure, signs Wal-Mart

    Miami Gardens, Fla. — The owners of Palmetto Gardens Plaza, a 7.1-acre center in Miami Gardens, have reached a settlement with PNC Bank, secured a new loan with Hudson Financial Services and signed a lease with Wal-Mart for a Neighborhood Market Store as its anchor tenant.

    In January of 2010, PNC Bank filed a foreclosure action against Palmetto Design Center, the property owner. That action has been settled.

  • Silver Jeans to debut ‘Loft’ concept at Glendale Galleria

    Winnipeg, Manitoba -- Canadian denim company Silver Jeans Co. said it will open its "loft" concept store at Glendale Galleria on Nov. 2 in Glendale, Calif.

    "We put a lot of work into making sure the store environment represents our brand," says Michael Silver, CEO, Silver Jeans Co. “We've created an environment that has a comfortable modern feeling but also lets our guests know that we're a historic brand with a rich 92-year history."

  • Five new retailers to The Shoppes at Chino Hills

    Chino Hills, Calif. — The Shoppes at Chino Hills, a 380,000-sq.-ft. community and lifestyle center in Chino Hills, Calif., has announced leases with five new retailers.

    DB Shoes has opened its first Inland Empire store in a 6,100-sq.-ft. space next to Aeropostale.

    Another Inland Empire first is The Kickin’ Crab, set to open in the spring of 2014.

    Originally an online business, Kid’s Wonderland recently opened its first brick-and-mortar retail location at Chino Hills.

  • Trademark hires new VP of leasing

    Fort Worth, Texas — Trademark Property Co. has announced the appointment of Daniel Goldware as VP of leasing. Goldware will initially work on Waterside, Trademark’s new 63-acre master planned, mixed-use development under construction in Fort Worth, as well as Victory Park in downtown Dallas.

    Goldware comes to Trademark from Weingarten Realty Investors where he served as a leasing executive in both Dallas and Houston for the past seven years.

     

  • RKF affiliates with U.K.-based consulting firm

    New York — RKF has formed an affiliation with CWM Retail Property Advisors, LLP, a U.K.-based retail consulting firm.

    Under the agreement, RKF has acquired CWM’s New York City office, whose current staff will join RKF. In addition, CWM and RKF have each committed to an exclusive relationship involving shared business referrals within the U.S. and the U.K.

  • Toys ‘R’ Us Express Pop-Up to Legends Outlets Kansas City

    Kansas City — Legends Outlets Kansas City has announced that a Toys “R” Us Express pop-up location is now open at the Village West shopping and dining destination. The 3,954-sq.-ft. store will operate through the holiday season.
