  • Tiffany & Co., New York City

    Tiffany & Co.’s dazzling jewel box in downtown Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood captures the retailer’s signature elegant feel and  heritage of craftsmanship. The interiors of the 7,000-sq.-ft. store, the jeweler's third outpost in New York City, were designed by select artisans who put their own spin on some traditional Tiffany design motifs.

  • Schnucks, Ballwin, Mo.

    Schnucks Markets unveiled a smaller format with the opening of its store in Ballwin, Mo. Comprised of a 40,000-sq.-ft. ground floor and a 5,000-sq.-ft. mezzanine, the supermarket combines the inviting ambience of a neighborhood market and easy-to-navigate layout with an updated array of amenities. The space is designed to promote shopper interaction and to spotlight fresh and prepared foods.

  • Polaroid Fotobar, Delray Beach, Fla.

    Polaroid Fotobar, a new retail concept from Polaroid, has opened its first location, in Delray Beach, Fla. The 2,000-sq.-ft. store is designed to allow consumers to take the images from their smartphones and tablet devices and easily turn them into “museum-quality” art that can be framed and hung on a wall or displayed on a desk. 

    Polaroid Fotobar has a modern, streamlined look, with sleek lines. The Delray Beach location will serve as a prototype for nine additional cites due to open this year, including locations in New York, Las Vegas, and Boston.

  • Westlake Ace Hardware, Bolivar, Missouri

    Westlake Ace Hardware is showing off a new, fresh design at its location in Bolivar, Missouri. The 17,845-sq.-ft. store has an organic and modern feel, with a wood and metal façade and polished concrete floors. Garage-style doors (kept open, weather permitting) and skylights allow natural light into the space. The format works to encourage browsing and helps make Westlake a preferred destination for project needs. (Westlake was designed by JGA, Southfield, Mich.)

  • Wendy's, multiple locations

    Wendy's is rolling out its updated image and new store environment to some 200 locations this year. Features include lounge seating, fireplaces and digital menuboards. The re-imaged restaurants have shown an average 25% increase in sales over the prior year.  Learn more.

  • The Cellular Connection, Indianapolis

    The Cellular Connection, the largest Verizon wireless retailer in the U.S., has unveiled a new design in its store in Indianapolis that will be incorporated into all its new stores moving forward. The design  is focused on providing a hands-on shopping experience and help customers understand how to fully integrate their technology purchases into their lifestyles.

  • The Hab, Mumbai

    The art of sewing comes alive at The Hab, a one-stop shopping destination in Mumbai, India, for all things sewing. The colorful store offers a fresh and youthful take on one of retailing’s more staid, and slightly old-fashioned, categories, and more than lives up to its motto: “A hipper side of sewing.”

  • Urban Outfitters, Westfield, N.J.

    Urban Outfitters brings its urban style and eclectic stylings to the heart of suburbia,  opening a location in the upscale and shopper-friendly  town of Westfield, N.J. The three-story store spans over 12,000 sq. ft. and is located in a decades-old building that formerly housed a bank, but had been vacant for 25 years. The building was revamped, but the integrity of the original design remains intact.
