Target removes same-day delivery markups for loyalty members
Target Corp. is giving members of its Target Circle 360 paid membership program a new benefit.
The discounter is eliminating same-day delivery fees from more than 100 retailers and grocers across Shipt's network for Target Circle members. Launched in April 2024, Target Circle 360 has always included unlimited free same-day delivery for orders from Target for over $35 and access to Shipt Marketplace. The new benefit makes Target Circle 360 the only membership program to offer no price markups on same-day delivery orders across Shipt's curated marketplace of over 100 retailers, including CVS, PetSmart, Lowe'’s, Hy-Vee, Lowes Foods and Giant Eagle.
According to Target, this update transforms Target Circle 360 into a “digital shopping center.” Target Circle 360's same-day delivery service is performed by Shipt personal shoppers.

"From the start, Target Circle 360 has been about building strong relationships with our guests and growing with them to deliver more value and ease," said Cara Sylvester, executive VP and chief guest experience officer, Target. "We've never charged markups on same-day delivery from Target, and now Target Circle 360 members can exclusively enjoy this no-markup benefit from more than 100 retailers and grocers across Shipt's network, too.”
Other Target Circle 360 benefits include early and exclusive access to deals and experiences including Target Circle Week, as well as limited-time offerings and partnerships, free two-day shipping on hundreds of thousands of items, extended returns windows, and recently introduced monthly freebies such as products and dollars toward their next purchase, redeemable in-store or online.
"The Shipt marketplace, our digital shopping center, gives members access to same-day delivery from more than 100 beloved national and regional retailers," said Shipt CEO Kamau Witherspoon. "In a time when consumers are looking to save both time and money, Target and Shipt are shaping a one-of-a-kind, dynamic retail ecosystem that lifts up our retail partners while helping members save."
