Target to offer weeklong Black Friday deals
Black Friday starts the Sunday before Thanksgiving at Target.
The discount giant is running what calls a weeklong “Black Friday experience” Sunday, Nov. 23 through Saturday, Nov. 29. The event will feature exclusive product launches, surprise giveaways, and discounts up to 50% on items across popular gift categories such as tech, toys, and apparel. An online-only Cyber Monday sale will follow Sunday, Nov. 30 - Monday, Dec. 1.
The extravaganza comes as Target has already held an early Black Friday sale and announced seven exclusive pop culture-themed collectible merchandise assortments it is releasing in time for Black Friday. In addition, every Sunday through Dec. 21, the retailer plans to roll out hundreds of fresh deals.

Extra deals will drop Thursday, Nov. 27- Saturday, Nov. 29 (which includes Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday), with Target Circle 360 paid loyalty program members getting early access to select deals. See a list of sample Target Black Friday discounts here.
On the official date of Black Friday (Nov. 28), Target stores nationwide at 6 a.m. local time. The first 100 customers in line at stores on Nov. 28 will receive a free limited-edition iridescent holiday tote filled with giveaways.
Shoppers will also be able to play "The JoyPop Game", a giveaway experience that lets them visit an in-store JoyPop booth and press the joy popper to reveal a surprise. Players will have the chance to receive Yeti-inspired gift tags, iridescent wrapping paper, and other products inspired by Target's Alpine Village-themed holiday in-store shopping experience.
In addition, 10 select shoppers per store will receive prizes ranging in value from $99 to $350, including a Target Circle 360 membership and $100 Target gift card. Shoppers will also be able to taste samples of the new Starbucks Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate, available exclusively at Starbucks located inside Target stores.

Minneapolis-based Target Corp. operates nearly 2,000 stores and the Target.com e-commerce site.
