Tanger Factory Outlet’s new tenants include….

Dave & Buster's will open at two Tanger Outlet locations.

Tanger Outlets is adding three new dining and entertainment destinations to its centers. 

Shake Shack will open at Tanger's center in San Marcos, Texas, this summer, and  Dave & Buster’s will open at Tanger's at Savannah, Ga., and Atlantic City, N.J. locations this fall. The openings will mark both companies’ debut in the Tanger portfolio. 

Dave & Buster's will be the newest addition to Tanger's lineup of experiential offerings, which also includes X-Golf. Both locations will include a state-of-the-art sports bar with a 40-foot wall of high-definition screens.

"At Tanger, we are constantly evolving our offerings to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers and are thrilled to bolster our non-apparel categories," said executive VP of leasing Justin Stein. "Through relationships with well-known partners like Shake Shack and Dave & Buster's, Tanger is thoughtfully executing on its strategy to expand into food and beverage and enhance the traditional shopping experience." 

Tanger recently celebrated Earth Day by partnering with local organizations on a diverse range of events, including tree plantings at centers and throughout local communities,  an upcycled fashion show, educational programs at local schools and litter clean-ups on highways and beaches.

he company continues to make great strides towards its goal of attaining net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. In 2022, Tanger strategically invested in renewable energy, including doubling its solar infrastructure and adding over 160 new electric vehicle charging stations to centers. Additionally, the company recycled over 10,000 tons of waste and converted 2,340 tons of waste into energy. 

New projects that reinforce the company's sustainability initiatives are planned for 2023, including amenities constructed from sustainable building materials. This May,  Tanger's Savannah, Atlantic City, and National Harbor locations will have rooftop vegetable gardens. Butterfly gardens are also being developed in four Tanger locations, each with educational plaques that highlight the importance of pollinators to the ecosystem.

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers owns (or has an ownership interest in) and/or manages a portfolio of 36 open-air centers with an additional center currently under development. Tanger's operating properties are located in 20 states and in Canada, totaling approximately 13.9 million square feet, leased to over 2,700 stores operated by more than 600 different brand name companies.
