Spirit Halloween sets opening date

Halloween is just around the corner — least for one retailer.

Spirit Halloween’s flagship location in Egg Harbor, N.J., will open on Saturday, July 31. The seasonal retailer, which is owned by Spencer Gifts, will continue opening stores throughout North America and will have a majority of its approximate 1,425 locations open by Labor Day.

In conjunction with the openings, Spirit Halloween is looking to hire 35,000 seasonal employees. This year the company, similar to many other retailers and restaurants, is offering prospective employees opportunities for early hire pay incentives, along with flexible scheduling, competitive salaries and bonus opportunities. Plus, employees will be given a 30% discount on all Spirit Halloween merchandise.
