Regional grocer New Seasons Market teams with Amazon for delivery
A supermarket chain serving the Portland, Ore. and Vancouver, Wash. areas is Amazon’s latest same-day grocery delivery partner.
In an email to Chain Store Age, New Seasons Market announced it is now available on the Amazon site for online shopping and same-day delivery. This follows the retailer’s launch of on-demand delivery from 18 stores in Oregon and southwest Washington via DoorDash in April 2024.
New Seasons Market, a natural foods grocer featuring locally sourced products, also partners with Instacart to support its newly released Apple and Android app, as well as its e-commerce site.

"Recognizing the rapidly changing landscape of grocery shopping, we're embracing industry-leading platforms, including that provided by Amazon, to ensure that our community has access to the freshest, most sustainably produced and highest quality products with the ease of online shopping and fast delivery."
To celebrate the launch of New Seasons Market on Amazon, all Prime members will receive free delivery on their first three orders from New Seasons Market.
Since 2023, Amazon has been enabling customers without a Prime membership to order delivery from a variety of local grocery and specialty retailers available on Amazon.com, including Lucky Supermarkets as well as Metropolitan Market and Weis Markets.

However, Prime members can sign up for a monthly ($9.99) or annual ($99.99) grocery delivery subscription which offers unlimited grocery delivery on orders over $35 across Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, and a variety of local grocery and specialty retailers.
