  • Irvine Company bringing Whole Foods Market to Santa Clara Square

    Santa Clara, Calif. --The Irvine Company announced that Santa Clara’s first Whole Foods Market is coming to Santa Clara Square, a unique office campus and specialty retail center being built at Great America Parkway and the 101 freeway in the heart of Silicon Valley.
  • Target to close 11 locations

    Minneapolis -- Tuesday Corp. announced that it planned to close 11 stores as of Feb. 1, 2015, citing performance issues.  
  • Construction completed on phase two of Fortuna Commons shopping center

    Yuma, Ariz. -- Construction is complete on Phase 2 of the Fortuna Commons shopping center, anchored by Fry’s Food & Drug. New tenants include Firehouse Subs, Goodwill, and AutoZone.  
  • Gordon Brothers, BlackRock Kelso launch finance company

    New York City -- BlackRock Kelso Capital Corporation announced that it has completed a transaction with Gordon Brothers Group to launch Gordon Brothers Finance Company.

  • SL Green Realty acquires 102 Greene Street

    New York City -- SL Green Realty Corp. announced it has acquired the retail property located at 102 Greene Street for $32.25 million. The transaction marks the continued growth of the company’s prime retail property portfolio, which already includes several other assets in Manhattan’s SoHo retail district.   
  • Mid-America handles sale of Maple Hill Mall

    Kalamazoo, Mich. -- Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales team recently brokered the sale of Maple Hill Mall in Kalamazoo, Mich. The 283,551-sq.-ft. center was purchased from Kimco Realty Corp. by Whitehouse, Ohio-based Devonshire REIT.  
  • United Tae Kwon Do to open at Summit Plaza

    Hackensack, N.J. -- Martial arts studio United Tae Kwon Do Center has leased 1,500 sq. ft. at Summit Plaza in Hackensack, becoming the latest tenant to join the retail lineup at the Bergen County shopping center. The 100,000-sq.-ft. retail property is owned and managed by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.
