  • Pizzicato Ristorante opens at Moorestown Mall

    Moorestown, N.J. -- Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) said Tuesday that locally owned Italian restaurateur Pizzicato Ristorante has opened at Moorestown Mall, in Moorestown, N.J.

    The 3,059-sq.-ft. restaurant, a BYO establishment, is located next to Pei Wei.

    The 1.1-million-sq.-ft. Moorestown Mall is owned and managed by PREIT, and anchored by Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Sears and Boscov’s.

  • Smart Fashion to make retail debut in Manhattan

    New York City -- Winick Realty Group announced that Smart Fashion, a national importer and exporter of women’s apparel, has leased its first retail location at 149B West 36th Street, between Broadway and 7th Avenue in Manhattan’s Garment District.

    Smart Fashion already operates a wholesale showroom nearby at 1407 Broadway.

    The 2,000-sq.-ft. store will focus on trendy junior sportswear.

  • Coyote announces acquisitions, amenities

    Addison, Texas -- Coyote Management, LP and Garrison Investment Group, through their affiliates, announced they acquired Decatur Mall, in Decatur, Ala., and Lakeshore Mall, in Gainesville, Ga., in September and have made enhancements and changes to the properties.

    A new corporate ad campaign for both malls was launched Nov. 1, and each mall has added a Customer Service Center, a new MasterCard gift-card program, children’s stroller program, new website and social media.

  • Shoppers Food & Pharmacy completes renovation at Southside Marketplace

    Baltimore -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers on Tuesday announced the completion of an interior and exterior store remodel of Shoppers Food & Pharmacy at Southside Marketplace, located in Baltimore. 

    The newly renovated anchor includes an upgraded shopping experience with updated finishes, lighting and store fixtures inside and out.

  • Parmida to open new Colorado store

    Centennial, Colo. -- Parmida Home said Tuesday it will celebrate the grand opening of a new Denver-area store on Feb. 5.

    The store, located in the Streets of SouthGlenn, will showcase home décor and accents.
       
    The Streets of SouthGlenn is an Alberta Development Partners urban lifestyle project in south Denver, and is a redevelopment of the former Southglenn Mall.

  • Tony’s New York Style Pizza to open at Johns Creek Center

    Jacksonville, Fla. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased retail space in Jacksonville at Johns Creek Center to Tony’s New York Style Pizza.

    The local pizzeria will open a 1,600-sq.-ft. restaurant in March 2011, and brings the center to 93% leased.

    The 75,100-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by Publix alongside Great Clips, H&R Block and Bank of America.

  • Fameco appointed receiver for three New Jersey properties

    Plymouth Meeting, Pa. -- Fameco Management Services said that Columbia Bank in conjunction with the Superior Court of New Jersey has appointed it as Rent Receiver/Property Manager for three properties in Burlington, Edison and Kenvil, N.J.

    The properties include a 15,530-sq.-ft. site located in Burlington anchored by Family Dollar, a 30,000-sq.-ft. unanchored center in Edison and a vacant 28,000-sq.-ft. freestanding building in Kenvil.

  • Toni & Guy to open at Preston Park Village

    Plano, Texas -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said it has leased retail space in Plano, Texas, at Preston Park Village to Toni & Guy.

    The hair, skin and nail salon will open a 1,690-sq.-ft. location in January 2011.

    The 239,333-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by a 53,118-sq.-ft. Tom Thumb alongside national retailers Panera Bread, Williams Sonoma, Ann Taylor and The UPS Store.
