Shoppers Food & Pharmacy completes renovation at Southside Marketplace

Baltimore -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers on Tuesday announced the completion of an interior and exterior store remodel of Shoppers Food & Pharmacy at Southside Marketplace, located in Baltimore.



The newly renovated anchor includes an upgraded shopping experience with updated finishes, lighting and store fixtures inside and out.



The grocer facelift is part of a $7 million renovation of Southside Marketplace, a 125,146-sq.-ft. neighborhood center anchored by Shoppers Food & Pharmacy. Center upgrades will include a new exterior facade, upgraded architectural components, new pedestrian plaza, signage, lighting, landscaping and parking lot improvements. The facade improvements and parking lot paving will begin in January 2011. All retailers at the center will remain open during the renovations which are scheduled for completion in May 2011.
