CBL bridges the gap between digital and physical with #MerryMallidays promotion

Chattanooga, Tenn. -- CBL & Associates Properties along with its corporate partner, Coca-Cola, are encouraging shoppers at CBL Malls across the country to get social this holiday season with an in-mall holiday promotion.



Through the week of Dec. 27, shoppers who take a selfie with a Coca-Cola product at a CBL shopping center and post it to Twitter or Instagram with the hashtags #MerryMallidays and #CokeContest will be entered to win a $1,000 weekly shopping spree. The promotion allows guests to share their offline experiences in CBL’s shopping centers on their favorite social channels, helping to close the gap between online and offline experiences.



“The Internet complements and enhances the in-store shopping experience,” said Mary Lynn Morse, senior director of marketing for CBL & Associates Properties. “Our guests today, especially Millennials, are using their mobile devices as a way to shop, seek peer reviews and share shopping successes. This promotion encourages that behavior while also raising awareness of our shopping centers and the offline experiences we are creating.”
