Puma is enhancing e-commerce performance.

A global athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories brand is centralizing e-commerce analysis and operations.

Managing its numerous e-commerce websites with multiple third-party supporting technologies across different markets, Puma found that this best-of-breed approach was slowing page load times. The company decided to implement a centralized site performance analytics portal that would enable its global teams obtain comprehensive insights into site speed metrics, particularly Core Web Vitals scores measuring real-world user experience.

Puma selected and implemented the cloud-based Yottaa Standard Edition e-commerce acceleration solution. Yottaa Standard optimizes and controls the loading of all browser-based site elements, including third-party technologies, and provides detailed analytics in areas such as third-party performance and Core Web Vitals metrics.

Results have included a 20% improvement in Core Web Vitals scores. The Yottaa solution also offers deep optimization capabilities, contributing to what Puma says a significant improvement in average site speed. This, in turn, has led to higher conversions on Puma’s e-commerce sites and has enabled the retailer to increase the ROI of its Salesforce Commerce Cloud e-commerce platform.

"Through Yottaa, we now have a centralized analytics dashboard that will help our e-commerce team achieve our site performance goals,” said Bettina Donmez, senior manager, cloud native platforms, Yottaa, “This, combined with Yottaa’s optimization capabilities, has enabled us to significantly speed up our sites. This is critical to ensuring the best experience for our online customers."

"By adding Yottaa to its tech stack, Puma now has real-time visibility into how its e-commerce sites are performing, as well as faster page load speeds that drive greater customer engagement and online revenue," said Diane Gordon, chief customer officer for Yottaa,

The Puma Group owns the brands PUMA, Cobra Golf and Stichd. The company distributes its products in more than 120 countries, employs about 20,000 people worldwide, and is headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
