Perigold's second retail store will be located in Houston.

Another Wayfair brand is expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint.

Perigold will open its first-ever physical store in spring 2025, at Highland Village in Houston. A second location, at CityPlace shopping center in West Palm Beach, Fla., will open in fall 2025.

The Houston store will feature nearly 20,000-sq.-ft. of products across home categories, from furniture and decor to lighting, kitchenware, bath and tile, in a store that combines two formerly separate spaces.

"We’re combining two formerly separate spaces which will allow us to showcase the majority of categories we offer and also have dedicated space for designers and their clients to collaborate," a spokesperson for Perigold told Chain Store Age.

A common thread across Perigold’s stores will be brand and designer shops. The stores will feature unique spaces, offering style and design inspiration curated by locally and nationally recognized design partners such as Marie Flanigan, Jessica Davis, Evan Millárd, Julie Neill and more.

Perigold expects to expand beyond the two markets for stores in the future, and is flexible when it comes to its real estate strategy.

“We are looking for spaces that can accommodate our broad offering across styles and categories, but have yet to determine the ideal size and format and believe it may vary by market,” said the spokesperson. “Houston and West Palm Beach are our first two locations, but there is plenty of opportunity to connect with our guests beyond these two markets.”

Established in 2017, Perigold is a part of Wayfair, the Boston-based, online seller of furniture and home goods. Other brands in the Wayfair portfolio include Wayfair, AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main and Wayfair Professional.

Earlier this year, Wayfair unveiled its first-ever large-format store for its namesake brand, at Edens Plaza in Wilmette, Ill. Spanning 150,000 sq. ft., the two-level space is designed as a one-stop shopping destination for all things home.
