    Scottsdale, Ariz. -- JDA Software Group announced that Bob Evans Farms will deploy a JDA workforce management solution (formerly RedPrairie WFM) in approximately 565 Bob Evans restaurants.

    Bob Evans selected JDA to help improve forecasting and scheduling of labor, drive proper placement of staff throughout the course of the day and provide exceptional service to every customer.

  • Cache names two new directors

    NEW YORK — Cache Inc., a specialty chain of women’s apparel stores, announced that Michael Price, managing partner of MFP Partners, L.P., Cache’s largest shareholder, has joined the board of directors. In addition, Charles Hinkaty, formerpresident and CEO of Del Laboratories Inc., has been appointed to the board. In connection with their appointments, Michael Price and Charles Hinkaty have been appointed to the nominating and governance committee and the compensation and plan administration committee of the oard.

  • Kroger, ECOtality spark an expanded EV charging station project

    SAN FRANCISCO — ECOtality and Kroger have announced an expanded partnership that includes the installation of more than 200 level 2 (quick charge) charging stations, and 25 DC Fast Chargers, to be installed across key markets through the EV Project. This multimillion dollar expansion will bring the total number of Blink chargers at the Kroger Family of Stores to almost 300.

  • KitchenAid launches recycling program with Illinois electronics store

    BENTON HARBOR, Mich. — KitchenAid is partnering with Abt Electronics in Glenview, Ill. to kick off Earth Week and encourage the responsible disposal of unwanted small electric kitchen appliances. From April 18 through May 16, Abt customers will receive an instant rebate toward the purchase of a new KitchenAid small appliance when they bring in any brand of small electric kitchen appliances to the store.

    NEW YORK — Macy's has announced the launch of its American Icons campaign, a cross-country tribute to the beloved traditions, people and landscapes of America. Macy's American Icons will officially kick-off in mid-May and extend through July. 

  • Genesco to pull out of Chicago stock exchange

    Nashville -- Genesco Inc. said Friday it will withdraw its listing on the Chicago Stock Exchange, citing a need to streamline operations and eliminate overlapping administrative requirements and costs.

    The company, which owns the Journeys, Lids, and Johnston & Murphy banners among others, will continue to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange.
