Walmart launches Gamecenter

BRISBANE, Calif. Walmart announced that it has introduced Gamecenter, a new online destination for the latest video game previews, first-look exclusives and special savings for gamers and families, now available at www.walmart.com/gamecenter.

Walmart said it is offering a $50 gift card to celebrate the launch. Customers who preorder at least three anticipated game titles are eligible to receive the card. In addition, all video games ordered from Walmart.com can now be shipped for just 97 cents each.                     

"Walmart Gamecenter combines incredible savings with exclusive gaming content all in a compelling and interactive experience online," says Kelly Thompson, VP merchandising for Walmart.com. "Gaming enthusiasts will be drawn in by the exclusive content and developer interviews, while moms will appreciate the special savings only Walmart can offer on the hottest video game titles."
