TRU celebrates Christmas early

WAYNE, N.J. Toys"R"Us is celebrating Christmas early. The company announced that from July 18 through July 24, it will offer dozens of items at holiday-season prices. In addition, the retailer said it will hold a Cyber Monday sale on July 26 with additional, exclusive deals.

"Christmas in July is designed to offer parents and caregivers the kinds of deals they have come to expect from Toys"R"Us during the holiday shopping season, and this year, we've kicked it up a notch by providing more opportunities to save in-store and online," said Greg Ahearn, SVP marketing and e-commerce for Toys"R"Us.  "While taking advantage of the deals, our customers can really get into the Christmas spirit by donating to Toys for Tots or opening a Christmas Savers Club account to start putting money aside for the holiday season now."

In-store deals include a free $20 gift card with purchase of Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board, 50% off select board games and 30% off all Moxie Girlz Dolls. Among the online deals the company is promoting are 50% off all Crayola Color Wonder Color Explosion products, 20% off all Pacific Cycle Bicycles and 20% off all Disney princess dolls.
