Many folks who sell consumer home products have appeared on morning TV—Martha Stewart, Rachel Ray, the list goes on and on. Now, a new morning TV talk show cuts out any bit of tenuousness between personalities and sales pitches.
On June 2, HSN launched “HSN Today,” a blend of entertainment and commerce that includes howto demonstrations, tips by resident experts and exclusive behind-the-scenes segments during which viewers can purchase products they see.
Home gets particular emphasis on the program with “Connect the Dots,” howto segments about simplifying life around the house, and “EAT!,” cooking showcases with tips and recipes from top chefs and HSN experts.
