Sears offering early 'Black Friday' deals

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Sears announced that it is offering weekly “Now” sale events with layaway options so customers can get a jump start on their shopping and have a more rewarding holiday season than ever before. Starting Friday, Oct. 29, and continuing every Friday and Saturday until Christmas, Sears said it will offer two-day sales, making gift giving even easier and more affordable with terrific prices throughout the holidays on the best brands.

“Last year, customer response to our Black Friday Now deals was overwhelmingly positive, many were thrilled that they did not have to wait for holiday deals,” said David Friedman, SVP and president marketing for Sears Holdings. “This year, we wanted to extend these deals to two days to help our customers get the best quality gifts for the ones they love without breaking the bank.”

“Black Friday Now” sale events will take place every Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, local time, beginning this Friday, Oct. 29 through Saturday, Nov. 20.
