Saks takes home two RACie awards

NEW YORK Saks Fifth Avenue has received two RACie awards for its Want It! and 10022-SHOE campaigns. RACie (Retail Award for Creativity innovation and excellence) award the best in retail campaigns.

Saks was the gold winner for its fall 2007 Want It! campaign, which focused on 18 items, nine for women and nine for men, the company deemed top trends for the year. The campaign featured visual displays highlighting the trends, as well as events, advertising, catalogs and a significant presence on saks.com.

Saks received the silver award for its 10022-SHOE campaign, the redesigned eighth floor of its New York store, big enough for its own zip code. The launch of the store included a widespread marketing campaign as well as a set of limited edition of stamps commemorating the event.
