Rue La La cottons to Molly Sims

Boston – Rue La La is adding some celebrity appeal to its omnichannel partnership promoting cotton. Actress, model and author Molly Sims is the new face of its "Cotton. It's Your Favorite for a Reason" campaign with promotional group Cotton Inc.



As the spokesperson, Sims will offer cotton style advice and will curate a shoppable selection of her favorite cotton-based fashion and home items on Rue La La. In addition, Sims will serve as the partnership's media ambassador, and host a fashion event where a collection of cotton pieces made specifically for the campaign will be featured.



The multi-platform, nationwide initiative kicked off in May, and Sims will be integrated into the program from July through November 2015.



Rue La La will support the partnership through its social media channels, dedicated emails to its 15 million registered members, and brand all packaging with cotton-specific tips. Lastly, Rue La La collaborated with some of its most popular designers to create cotton-rich pieces available exclusively during “cotton takeovers” on the site in September and November, with proceeds benefiting an educational scholarship.
