Ride named president of Electrolux vacuum business

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. Electrolux Home Care Products has named Scott Ride president of Electrolux Central Vacuum Systems. In this role, Ride will lead the global central vacuum business for Electrolux while maintaining overall responsibility for Electrolux Home Care Products Canada. Ride replaces Russ Minick, who was recently named president and ceo of EHCP.

Prior to joining Electrolux, Ride was a senior brand manager at Maytag Canada where he was  responsible for managing corporate brand development and external communications,  advertising, event marketing, marketing communications, public relations, strategic initiatives, marketing communications, and research.
