Report: Another marketing exec out at Macy's
NEW YORK Brad Jakeman, evp of marketing for Macy's Inc., has reportedly left the company after less than one year of taking the position.
Jakeman is the second Macy's marketing executive to leave the company within the past four months; Anne MacDonald, former chief marketing officer of the company, left in June.
The news of Jakeman's departure just as Macy's embarked on major marketing push. The company's lastest campaign, which was created by Oscar winners Barry Levinson and Bob Richardson (director and cinematographer, respectively), features celebrity designers in a Macy’s store readying their relevant "departments" for business. Some celebrities featured in the campaign include Sean (Diddy) Combs, Jessica Simpson, Usher, Donald Trump, Marc Ecko, Kimora Lee Simmons, Tommy Hilfiger, Emeril Lagasse, Tyler Florence and more.
