Lillian Vernon Catalogs Back in the Mail

Colorado Springs, Colo. Beginning with a "soft launch" mailing of 600,000 catalogs in May, Lillian Vernon is on track with a plan that calls for increasing circulation and steady mailings throughout the year, the company said.

Since the initial catalog mailing in May, order volume has been steadily increasing, the company said.

In addition, Lillian Vernon continues to see strong response through its online channel.

With the expected sales growth during the holiday season, plans are in place to fill as many as 1,100 seasonal positions at the Lillian Vernon call center and distribution center in the existing Virginia Beach facility, the company said.
