Jo-Ann teams up with Boys & Girls Clubs
Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores is aiming to attract more families with a new corporate giving campaign.
The fabric and craft specialty retailer announced that Boys & Girls Clubs of America will be a major recipient of Jo-Ann corporate giving in 2015. To help inspire young minds, customers will be able to purchase a “pin-up” upon checkout to benefit the organization from March 1 through April 4 at all Jo-Ann stores nationwide.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 2015,” said Beth Shivak, manager of special events for Jo-Ann. “We hope our customers purchase a ‘pin-up’ upon checkout to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of America and help us in supporting the Clubs as they create amazing opportunities for youth across the nation.”
All proceeds will be donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America in support of its mission to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. During National Boys & Girls Club Week, March 23-29, customers will have the opportunity to see where it happens by taking a virtual club tour at GreatFutures.org/clubtour. Visitors who take the virtual tour will have a chance to enter to win a $250 Jo-Ann gift card for themselves and for a local Boys & Girls Club of their choice.
Jo-Ann stores will also be sponsoring 100 Ways to Celebrate Boys & Girls Club Week, an interactive landing page that provides fun tips and activities for kids to participate in during the week.
