HSN and Disney walk down the yellow brick road

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Multi-channel retailer HSNi will collaborate with Disney to create an exclusive collection of fashions, jewelry, beauty and home accessories based on Walt Disney Studios' film “Oz the Great and Powerful.”



To promote the collection and the film, HSN has developed a marketing campaign that includes a two-day live event viewable across all its platforms: TV, HSN.com and HSN mobile.



“Oz the Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi, stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams. It opens in theaters nationwide on March 8 and is rated PG.



The apparel, accessories, jewelry and beauty pieces are inspired by the movie's three witches, Theodora, Evanora and Glinda. The home and culinary items are inspired by the world of Oz evoked in the film.

Jewelry, fashion, beauty products and home accessories, including exclusive pieces from Naeem Khan, Badgley Mischka, Adrienne Landau, Raven Kauffman, Urban Decay and Be&D, will be available for sale during a live 48-hour event on HSN on March 1 and 2. The collection will be available on HSN.com beginning February 14.
