Harry & David announces partnership with QVC

MEDFORD, Ore. Harry & David, maker of gourmet food gifts and consumables, has announced a new partnership with QVC. This dynamic venture will leverage the strengths of both parties to offer consumers a comprehensive "year-round" product mix that will feature unique gourmet food offerings designed specifically for self consumption, entertaining and gifting, the company reported.

"QVC is the marquis player operating in the television shopping platform. Their attention to quality and the customer experience is second to none and with their seasoned gourmet food category that caters to millions of bona fide 'foodies' as well as more casual gifters and purchasers, there could not be a better place for Harry & David to deliver our special brand of happiness," says Jane Terker, EVP chief merchandising officer at Harry & David.

Product offers will be featured on a consistent basis in QVC regular food themed programming as well as Harry & David branded programming.  Additionally, QVC.com will carry an extended assortment to complement the television offerings.  The first offer will be available on QVC's "Christmas in July" show airing on July 24th at 3:00pm EST.
