eBay woos holiday shoppers with global brand campaign

eBay plans to leverage its latest global brand campaign, called “Shop the World,” to position itself at the forefront of shoppers’ minds during the holiday shopping season.



eBay’s brand advertising and marketing campaign, which debuts Oct. 13, aims to support sellers by engaging existing eBay users and attracting new ones.



“Our diverse community of global sellers is a core part of our marketplaces ecosystem. This campaign is for them,” said Christopher Payne, SVP of eBay North America. “Thanks to our sellers, eBay has one of the most extensive and interesting product catalogs in the world.”



Developed in partnership with Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the campaign will be deployed across television, digital, mobile and social channels and will launch in conjunction with themed collections of shoppable inventory on eBay.com.
