Cost Plus offers special deals, launches design contest

OAKLAND, Calif. Cost Plus World Market is hoping customers will flock to its stores during its "Discovery Days," which began July 13 and will run through July 26. The retailer said it will offer lower prices on select merchandise that will change throughout the two-week period.

In addition, World Market has launched a contest to design the new look for the retailer's reusable tote bag. The winner also will receive a $1,000 World Market gift card plus 25 of the tote bags featuring the winning design.
