BJ's elects Sheehan to board


NATICK, Mass. BJ's Wholesale Club has elected Michael Sheehan, ceo of Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos, a Boston-based communications agency, to its board of directors. Owned by the Interpublic Group of Companies, Hill Holliday is one of the top communication agencies in the nation.

Commenting on the appointment, BJs chairman and ceo Herb Zarkin, said, We are extremely pleased to welcome Mike Sheehan to the BJs Wholesale Club board of directors. In his career as a marketing communications professional, Mike has been awarded virtually every national and international award for excellence. At Hill Holliday, his clients include such iconic brands as Liberty Mutual, Verizon Wireless, John Hancock, Dunkin Donuts, Bank of America, CVS, Covidien, Chilis, and Novartis. 

Sheehan joined Hill Holliday as a group creative director in 1994 and was named executive creative director in 1996. In 1999, he joined DDB Chicago as executive creative director overseeing the McDonalds account. In 2000, he rejoined Hill Holliday as president and in 2003 was named ceo.
