Art Van Furniture launches omnichannel selfie promo

Warren, Mich. – Art Van Furniture is launching an omnichannel promotion in Detroit on Sept. 12 to celebrate the release of its 2014 fall catalog. Customers can take selfies or have a photo taken by celebrity photographer Nigel Barker on one of 55 sofas that will be placed outside the Art Van Furniture store on Woodward Avenue.



The picture-taking participants must tag their photo with the hashtags #ArtVan and #SofaSelfie and then post it on their personal Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram social media sites. Art Van Furniture is also hosting similar events with Nigel Barker in Grand Rapids and Chicago. Individuals who are unable to attend the events can enter the contest by taking a selfie on a sofa at a local Art Van Furniture store. The top 55 contestants receiving the most retweets, shares and likes by Sept. 30 will win a new sofa from Art Van Furniture.
