Ace Hardware paints 31 days of color

3/2/2015

Ace Hardware is taking an omnichannel approach to paint promotions with a new “31 Days of Color” campaign.

The Oak Brook, Ill.-based co-op has launched a customization-focused paint experience that allows customers on acehardware.com, on social media and in-store to be inspired with new paint colors and renovate.

"Color is an integral part of the design in any space of the home, and by highlighting one unique color each day, consumers have the opportunity to experience the vast range of colors available at Ace in a new and exciting way," said Ace's Design Expert Katie Reynolds. “31 Days of Color is an opportunity for consumers to take advantage of Ace's know-how in color through an interactive online program designed to assist them in discovering new color inspiration and design ideas."

The month-long consumer program will feature daily paint color selections alongside expert design advice via social media and daily giveaways online and in-store, as well as a nationwide paint makeover sweepstakes.

"31 Days of Color was designed to inspire consumers and help them identify the right color to transform their space," said Kim, Valspar Color Strategist. "We're excited to share new colors each day, along with design tips, to complement every consumer's personal style and give them the confidence they need to create a colorful space of their own!"

Consumers also have the opportunity to bring color to life within their homes through a paint makeover and daily Ace gift card sweepstakes, daily paint sample giveaways, and in-store promotions. Participating Ace Hardware stores across the country have also joined 31 Days of Color by offering custom-tinted pint color samples in any color for just $0.99 during the month of March, regularly $4.99.

In addition, from March 25-March 29, participating Ace stores are offering buy one, get one free on all gallons of interior and exterior Royal® and Clark+Kensington® paint -- a savings of up to $71 when you buy two.

With more than 4,800 hardware stores locally owned and operated across the globe, Ace is the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world.
