  • Daily’s convenience chain selects NCR Radiant POS

    Jacksonville, Fla. - First Coast Energy has selected NCR’s Radiant point-of-sale (RPOS) technology solutions to improve service and reliability at its Daily’s Shell-branded convenience stores in Florida. Daily’s has also opted to implement NCR’s Customer Self Service (CSS) food ordering solution which creates an excellent and consistent consumer food experience. This solution combines software used both by the shopper for ordering and the employee for food preparation, creating a fast, efficient and reliable experience.

  • Morton Salt bolsters R&D capabilities

    Morton Salt has invested $1 million in a state-of-the art food lab at its research and development center in Elgin, Illinois, to support the food industry’s growing desire to reduce sodium levels in comestibles.  

    By creating a dedicated food lab at its R&D center, Morton Salt is adding new equipment and 1,300 sq. ft. of space for its team of food scientists and technical staff. Morton also plans to focus on new product development, enhanced formulations, application testing and technical support.

  • PacSun runs omnichannel summer celebration

    Anaheim, Calif. - Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. celebrated its inaugural "Golden State of Mind Day" on June 21, which was the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. PacSun ran a full, 20-hour day of events and activations across the U.S.

    The #GSOMday hashtag was leveraged throughout the day on PacSun social channels, and all posts supporting GSOM Day are now featured on the PacSun website.

  • H&M previews summer looks with summer camp event

    Retailer H&M showed off items from its summer fashion line with a summer camp-themed event in Brooklyn.

    Following a preview of the fashion retailer, guests participated in postcard writing activities and played Ping-Pong, culminating in a performance by Zoe Kravitz’s band, Lolawolf, around a campfire.

    "I think H&M does a really great job making clothes that are affordable but still fashionable and well made,” Kravitz said.
