  • Study: Global Big Data market to reach $48 billion by 2018

    Albany, N.Y. – The global Big Data market, worth $6.3 billion in 2012, is expected to reach a value of $48.3 billion in 2018. According to a new study from Transparency Market Research, a year-on-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40.5% during the period 2012-2018 will produce that figure.

  • Title 24: Impact Extends Beyond California

    On July 1, 2014, recent updates to the 2013 California Building Energy Efficiency Standards — Title 24 — went into effect.

  • Deloitte: Total holiday sales to rise 4% to 4.5%; non-store sales up 14%

    New York -- Total holiday sales are expected to rise 4% to 4.5% over last season, totaling between $981 and $986 billion, according to Deloitte’s annual retail holiday sales forecast. The growth represents a moderate improvement over last year’s 2.8% gain.

    Additionally, Deloitte forecasts a 13.5% to 14% increase in non-store sales in the online and mail order channels during the 2014 holiday season.  

  • Pitney Bowes survey: 49% of Americans shopping online earlier for holiday

    Stamford, Conn. -- Half of Americans (49%) plan to shop online earlier for gifts this holiday season, with the main reason being to ensure they receive their packages on time (63%), according to a survey by Pitney Bowes.

InMoment is providing the technology for Tell TJ, Taco John’s guest satisfaction survey program.
