    AUSTIN, Texas — Mozido, a cloud-based, white-label integrated platform of mobile payments, commerce and marketing, has appointed former senior CorFire executives Steve Bacastow and Charlie Wiggs to its management team.

    Mozido enables companies in retail, financial services, consumer packaged goods and telecom to serve consumers, small businesses and global corporate brands with and without bank accounts. Its platform complemented by real-time customer behavior analytics.

  • Crate and Barrel rolling out Predictix planning solution

    Atlanta – Predictix announced that Crate and Barrel is implementing a broad suite of planning solutions from Predictix, including merchandise financial planning/merchandise financial management, assortment planning and item planning.

    The Predictix solutions are being deployed across all Crate and Barrel brands — Crate and Barrel, CB2 and The Land of Nod — and will go live this quarter as part of a strategic plan to optimize the retailer's planning processes.

    NEW YORK — Dell has unveiled its first end-to-end cloud solution which enables retailers to seamlessly move to an in-store cloud environment.

  • Weis Markets selects Profitect’s cloud-based solution

    Waltham, Mass. -- Profitect announced Monday that Weis Markets has selected its cloud-based Profit Amplification solution, a pattern-seeking predictive analytics tool, for deployment throughout the chain.

    Weis Markets will initially deploy the Point of Sale and Inventory modules of the Profitect suite.

  • Cloud-solutions developer gets new CEO

    ATLANTA — Cloud-solutions developer Predictix has named John Simon as its new CEO.

    Simon will be charged with helping accelerate growth as Predictix continues developing and delivering solutions to retail companies. The move comes on the heels of the partnership announced between Predictix and analytics-based consumer chain solutions developer Yomari.
