Blockbuster touts 'less waiting' in first TV campaign in three years
DALLAS - Blockbuster has announced the launch of its first national television advertising campaign in three years. For the first time since 2007, the company will promote itself on every major network and cable networks with its campaign, "Less Waiting. More Watching." The 30-second spot debuted Nov. 22 on programs like NBC's "Today" show and ABC's "Dancing with the Stars: Finale."

Report: Belk investing in IT upgrade
New York City -- Belk is investing $150 million to boost online sales and upgrade its IT systems, The Charlotte Observer reported.
The department store operator plans to focus on improving its e-commerce functions and replace its current systems for ordering and allocating merchandise, according to the report.
Belk has sought to boost its online presence in recent years to keep up with competitors in a marketplace where online sales are growing rapidly.
