  • JLL managing two new shopping centers

    Chicago – Retail experts from professional services and investment management firm JLL are managing two new shopping centers. JLL has been retained by Ashkenazy Acquisition Corp. to manage Beverly Connection, a 348,285-sq.-ft. shopping mall in Los Angeles, and also been retained by 759 Ventures LLC to manage the 58,280-sq.-ft. 2424 North Davidson Street center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

  • Crocs names Reebok exec VP of North America retail

    Niwot, Colo. -- Claire Fahie-Conley, VP of U.S. retail for Reebok, has been appointed Crocs' VP of retail for North America. In this role, Fahie-Conley will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the retail footprint in North America, including the entire fleet of full-price and outlet stores.

  • Lowe's launches on-demand delivery service for pros

    Lowe's continues to invest in capabilities to better serve professional customers, and has launched ProExpress, an on-demand delivery service to that end.

    Since April 2014, these light-duty trucks have made thousands of deliveries directly to business sites to meet a wide range of needs. Through the program, Lowe's has helped pros by fulfilling emergency orders such as smoke detectors to pass an inspection, or shingles to complete a job before a storm. The ProExpress trucks also regularly visit businesses to restock shelves with cleaning and maintenance supplies.

  • Jamba Juice plans 500 new U.S. stores

    Emeryville, Calif. – Jamba Inc., parent company of the Jamba Juice chain, is launching a new franchise recruiting campaign focused on single-store development in existing and new domestic markets. Jamba is looking to add 500 new domestic stores in the next five years and double year-over-year store development via the new recruiting program.

  • GGP vet joins Trademark Property

    Fort Worth, Texas - David E. Pratt has joined Trademark Property Co. as VP mall and lifestyle leasing. Pratt brings 27 years of retail leasing experience to Trademark, where he will be responsible for leasing of the company’s lifestyle centers and malls.

  • Stage Stores taps Action Services Group for lighting, electrical maintenance

    Aston, Pa. - Actions Services Group, a national lighting maintenance, sign maintenance and electrical services company, has signed an agreement with Stage Stores for interior lighting maintenance and electrical services for three of its retail brands. The three retail brands include Bealls, Goody’s and Peebles with store locations across the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

  • Loblaw taps new president for Joe Fresh brand

    Loblaw, owner of the Joe Fresh brand, has promoted Mario Grauso to president of Joe Fresh. He was previously chief operating officer of the brand.

    Grauso will continue to report to Joe Mimran, president of Joseph Mimran & Associates and creative director of Joe Fresh. In his new role, Grauso oversees business strategy, operations, marketing, international development, merchandising, sourcing and design functions at Joe Fresh.

  • Trademark Property Co. takes over Uptown Village at Cedar Hill

    Fort Worth, Texas -- Trademark Property Co. announced it has been engaged to manage and lease Uptown Village at Cedar Hill, a 610,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use open-air center in Cedar Hill, Texas.

    Strategically located in the midst of a dynamic retail hub less than 20 minutes south of downtown Dallas, Uptown Village includes 350,000 sq. ft. of specialty stores and restaurants and 35,000 sq. ft. of office space.
