The number of planned store closures at Talbot’s was bumped to 110 units recently when the company reported disappointing first-quarter results and indicated most of the underperforming units would close during the second half of the year.

New York City -- Centro Properties Group said Wednesday that Tuesday Morning stores have recently opened in Centro shopping centers in Pennsylvania and Virginia.

The retailer opened a 10,440-sq.-ft. store at New Britain Village Square, located in Chalfont, Pa., and a 17,089-sq.-ft. store at Jefferson Green, located in Newport News, Va.

New York City -- Loehmann's Holdings announced  that Steven M. Newman has been appointed CEO.

Newman, who will also be a member of Loehmann's board of directors, will join the company in the second week of June. He assumes the CEO role from interim CEO Joe Melvin who will remain as COO of the company.

NEW YORK — Phillips-Van Heusen announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Ram Pacific under which Ram Pacific will market and distribute apparel and accessories under PVH’s IZOD brand in Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. The initial term of the license agreement runs through December 2015 and provides for a renewal at PVH’s option.

Sidney, Neb. -- Cabela’s will open a store in Tulalip, Wash., in 2012.

The 110,000-sq.-ft. store will be located within Quil Ceda Village on the Tulalip Tribes Indian reservation, about 30 miles north of Seattle. It will be the outdoor retailer’s second Washington store.

Miami -- NGC said Tuesday that Aeropostale has selected its supply chain management software as the retailer’s international supply chain management system.

According to NGC, Aeropostale wanted to improve visibility, collaboration and communication between its vendors and international licensees.

Dayton, Ohio -- A report by the Dayton Business Journal said that the Liz Claiborne distribution center in West Chester, Ohio, will close within the next year.

Liz Claiborne said it plans to close and sell the 900,000-sq.-ft. DC due to “changing business needs,” company spokeswoman Dana Stambaugh told the Journal.
