  • Sherwin-Williams predicts strong sales in ’14, ‘15

    Cleveland – The Sherwin-Williams Co. is predicting healthy sales growth for this year and next year. For the full year 2014, the company expects consolidated net sales to increase approximately 9% compared to full year 2013.  
  • Study – Indian e-commerce market to reach $51 billion by 2017

    Washington, D.C. – The recent spate of investments in Indian e-commerce ventures appear to be based on solid expectations. According to a new report from MarketResearch.com, the e-commerce market in India will reach $51 billion by 2017, growing at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 43% during 2012-2017.

  • Phillips Edison acquires Kroger-anchored center near Atlanta

    Cincinnati - Phillips Edison Grocery Center REIT II announced the acquisition of Spivey Junction, an 81,475-sq.-ft. grocery store-anchored shopping center in Stockbridge, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.   Spivey Junction is anchored by Kroger, and features a fuel center. Other national and regional tenants at the center include Great Clips, Workout Anytime, Domino's Pizza, Subway, Goodwill and Miracle Ear.
  • Cabela’s to build store in Farmington, Utah

    SIDNEY, Neb. - Cabela’s Inc. announced today plans to open a 72,000-sq.-ft. store in Farmington, Utah.  Construction is scheduled to begin in 2015, and Cabela’s anticipates a spring 2016.   The store will be located in the newly planned Park Lane Commons development adjacent to Station Park on the west side of Interstate   
  • Jos. A. Bank weighs on Men's Warehouse profits

    The acquisition of Jos. A. Bank in June weighed heavily on Men’s Warehouse in the third quarter, as the company reported a profit decline of 82% due to expenses related to the integration of the rival clothier’s operations.

  • RSR: Saving money top priority of holiday shoppers

    New York - Fifty-one percent of consumers say saving money is their top priority this holiday season, and  40% are driven by finding the right product. Those are among the findings of a recent survey conducted by RSR.  

  • Restoration Hardware beats Street with large Q3 profit

    Corte Madera, Calif. – Restoraton Hardware Holdings Inc. (RH) beat Wall Street forecasts with net income of $19.4 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2014, more than double net income of $9.5 million in the same period a year earlier.
